Thank you for your interest in a Palm Harbor Newcomers Club membership! The club is a not-for-profit women’s organization operated exclusively for social interaction, recreation and other non-profit purposes. Here is what you can expect when joining PHNC:
Activities
PHNC has over 20 activity groups for you to enjoy. Some of the activities include book clubs, card games groups, a Mah Jongg tournament, dining out groups, dining together groups and small group outings such as with Arts & Antiques and Gardening Gals.
Luncheons
PHNC monthly meetings offer a moderately priced luncheon in a lovely setting; updates and announcements from the club’s president and many of the board chairs; an opportunity to purchase books, jewelry and raffle tickets for different door and cash prizes; recognition of birthdays; and an opportunity to sign up for activities. Various luncheon themes and entertainment make things fun, but, best of all, the monthly luncheons provide a time to say hello to old friends and to get to know other friends you haven’t met yet!
Guests
Membership also grants you the privilege of inviting guests to the monthly luncheons and to the special event outings that are held periodically throughout the year (when space permits.)
Prospective members and other guests may attend up to two General Membership Meetings (luncheons) a year prior to joining the club. A paid membership includes so many wonderful activities, and you don’t have to live in Palm Harbor or new to the area to join!
Dues
Annual dues, which are $30 to cover January 1 through December 31, are due by December 31 annually. For those who join in second half of the year, fees may be reduced, and the amount due will be indicated on the Membership form.
Trips and Special Events
Throughout the year, trips are offered to various loations of interest, and there are also periodic special events, such as the popular Hospice Fashion Show & Boutique.
Chatterbox Newsletter and more
Membership also allows access to the club’s protected monthly newsletter, the “Chatterbox”, a club members monthly birthday list and the PHNC Membership Directory.
