Syndicated Sound of the Tarpon Springs Leadership Conservatory for the Arts (TSLCA)is a mixed vocal ensemble and the only competitive show choir in the state of Florida. It was started in 1981 by Charles Cheeseman. The current 20-plus young vocalists attend Tarpon Springs High School and travel the country competing and performing in a cohesive show.
Last year Syndicated Sound was awarded the title of Best Overall at Southland Show Choir Classic in Enterprise, Alabama and 2nd Place in Mixed Small division at the Tift County Peach State Invitational in Tifton, Georgia. This year the group will travel with their show “Greetings from Florida” to Alabama and Georgia, and Orlando for the national Heart of America competition.
Syndicated Sound will perform “Greetings from Florida” at our December luncheon as well as Candlelight music from Disney’s Candlelight Processional at Epcot.
