The Maj Mixer welcomes new and experienced Mah Jongg players in a round robin style tournament similar to the Maj Minglers. Members are grouped into teams of 2. Each team will play a different team each month so it’s a great way to meet new members while enjoying the game. Players will meet on the 2nd Monday of the month at a designated restaurant. This season begins September 2025 and ends in May 2026 after completing 9 tournament gatherings (each session consists of 8 mah jongg games). Players need to understand the rules of the game.
Requirements: Members are grouped into teams of two (2). The season lasts for 7 months.
1. Participants will need a current National Mah Jongg League card and should be knowledgeable of the game’s rules and play.
2. A $15 fee (check payable to PHNC) is required to cover prizes awarded at the end of the season.
3. Each player purchases their own lunch at the restaurant.
Sign ups are advertised in the Chatterbox before the season starts. The season for 2025-26 is now closed.
