Bunco is a social dice game, traditionally played with a minimum of 12 players who are divided into three tables with four players at each table. But really, almost any number can play. Members will volunteer to host in their homes, a clubhouse, or a venue of choice with the assistance of a cohostess. Each month the number of participants may be determined depending on how much space each hostess has to offer. Many members own card tables and chairs and are willing to share for this event.
The group will gather for lunch and chatter an hour before play begins. Prizes are awarded at the end of the four games. There is a $10 fee to participate. $5 for the prizes and $5 to offset the cost of the luncheon presented by the hostess and cohostess. This group is open to all PHNC members on a month-to-month basis.
