At the December 17th luncheon, PHNC will be collecting for Hero To A Child (Guardian ad Litem Foundation) which provides toys, food, and necessities to children who have been removed from their homes.

Thank you for being an advocate to children and youth in dependency care. Hero To A Child is proud to help support these kids by providing for their individual needs. Domestic violence and child abuse do not take a break during this time of year. Please help by supporting Hero To A Child (formerly Guardian ad Litem) care for children placed in foster care.

Some useful gift cards: Walmart, Target, Amazon, Visa, Bath & Body Works and Forever 21 (for our teens). Looking for a volunteer opportunity? Consider being a volunteer Guardian ad Litem. Learn more at GALF. Your donation via gift card or check made out to Hero To a Child will be greatly appreciated.

PHNC will be collecting for FEAST, a local food pantry, at the November 19th Luncheon. FEAST provides food and personal care supplies to families in need in the North Pinellas County area. At this time, FEAST is most in need of the following shelf-stable items.

Peanut butter & jelly
Canned soup
Cereal
Dry pasta & sauce
Canned Veggies

Canned fruit
Toilet paper
Paper towels
Toothpaste & soap
Deodorant

Gift cards from Aldi, Publix, and Walmart are also greatly needed.

Syndicated Sound will perform a portion of their upcoming “Greetings from Florida” at our December luncheon as well as a selection of Candlelight music from Disney’s Candlelight Processional at Epcot.

Syndicated Sound of the Tarpon Springs Leadership Conservatory for the Arts (TSLCA) is an award-winning mixed vocal ensemble and Florida’s only competitive show choir. It was started in 1981 by Charles Cheeseman. The 20-plus young vocalists attend Tarpon Springs High School and travel the country competing and performing in a cohesive show.
